Yesterday we all had our trip to Rotoroa. All the year six’s had to go and sit under the cloud and in there class lines waiting for the bus. Then the bus came and picked us all up. Befor the bus came teachers counted all of the students,after that they did the roll to see who’s here and who’s not here.

Later two buses came to pick us all up,when we all got on the buses and we drove off. We were taking the bus all the way to the city where the ferry was,it was a really long drive since it was a 1 hour drive,as we got in the city we all got to see the Sky Tower so closely. After that we finally got to the ferry.

After the 1 hour bus drive we got to the ferry,we thanked the bus driver and hopped off the bus,after that we got on the ferry and drove off,it was a 1 hour and 15 minute drive so we ate we also got to go on the front of the boat and the back after a long drive we got to the Island and started walking to the place where we all had to meet.

We started to talk about Rotoroa and then we started to explore,first we went to the beach for the rock pools. We finished the rock pools exploring and then we got to play on the beach. We even got to do rock skiping and i got the most skiping of maybe 10 or more. After that we had lunch and then went for our hike we saw lotes of cool birds like tui and others.

We walked up this steep hill that was tiring for people,we saw every thing even other Islands near us. We walked down this shady path where we spotted lots of takahe and we heard the laughing bird the tieke sattle back up in the trees,if we had a chance to go to Rotoroa we would go again,i felt so happy there,after that the ferry arrived and picked us up.

STAN WALKER. Stan walker is a Maori champion and this is why.

Stan walker was born on 23 of october 1990.He was born in Melbourne Australia and grew up in Maunganui,New zealand,he was only 18 years of age when he started his professional singing career in earnest by appearing on the winning Australian Idol in 2009.

Stan walker made his first ever song In 2009 which his song was called Black Box.Stan walker was actually a shop assistant at a menswear shop in 2009 in the same year he won Australia Idol where the shop was located in coolgantta before he became famous.

Stan walker does actually speak Maori.He also writes his own songs and became the judge on the X factor NZ after he won Australian Idol in 2009.Stan walker was diagnosed with stomach cancer.His real name is actually Stan Roto Walker,and he only has one sibling named Russ walker.

SCHOOL is a place where you can learn.

The thing I like about school is reading,writing and playing with my friends at play time. When it starts to rain when im at school thats what I dont like because that means were not gonna be able to go outside and play.

School is important because at school it can get you smarter and can get you some new friends if you don’t have any,school is also a very safe place to go where the school keeps every single child safe where theres teachers and lots of other kids.

As soon as I stepped into the class when I first started,Aaron greeted me. He took me to the mat and sat down. That’s when I got the feeling that I was in a safe school with safe friends. I knew this was the school where I belonged to. When its break time me and my friends go outside and play on the playground,we sometimes play busted on the playground and if we don’t want to play there we go to the field and play soccer with other kids from different classes. Or maybe the same class as me.

At Weymouth primary school we have different places you can go and play like the courts,field,garden and the park.

A TINY VOICE ASKED IS HE THE ONE?

 As Archie was lying down he heard a voice.There were two glowing eyes watching him sleep.Archie woke up and Archie  saw two glowing eyes,archie was wondering how was there just two glowing but no body,he thought it was just a dream so he went back to sleep.But moments later he heard a voice say “Im  watching you Archie, Archie woke up scared he got out of bed and ran straight out the door. He could hear the two glowing eyes chasing him and laughing so he had no choice but to run outside.When he got out the two glowing eyes stopped chasing him,after all that Archie woke up and realised it  was all just a dream.
